Dear friend,
The Interfaith Council of Southern Nevada is pleased to announce the opening of The Interfaith Contemplative Center. The Interfaith Contemplative Center will be putting on monthly programs inviting a deeper experience of the inner world of Spirit and Soul.
In addition to sharing some version of The Golden Rule to treat and serve others in a gracious manner in the outer world, all religious traditions carry practices that explore the inner dimension of our spiritual being, allowing an enhanced perspective which sees and honors the sanctity of all life. Thus it is, the expansion of our inner life promotes compassion, wisdom, and courage in the outer world, fulfilling the Golden Rule which embraces the sanctity of all life.
This is the experience of contemplatives throughout the ages of our planet’s spiritual history. This is the core legacy of the perennial truth of our religious traditions.
If indeed we are serious about being a beneficial influence in the world, we will be earnest in our endeavor to bring the blessing of the inner world of the soul into the outer world of relations.
We invite you to join our programming as we explore the contemplative dimension!
In the ongoing adventure,
Gard Jameson
Chair of The Interfaith Council
