Individual meetings with a trained, certificated Spiritual Companion who will watch and wait and
listen with you as you discern the movements of the Divine within you. Appointments may be
online or in-person at several locations throughout the greater Las Vegas Valley. For more

Going Deeper
A half-day contemplative retreat that invites participants to transcend doctrinal and theological
differences by engaging with the realities of lived experiences with the Divine through practices
that encourage seeking intimacy and authenticity in relationship with God and community.

I welcome you all to our next contemplative experience on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 9:30 AM to Noon on Zoom! Our topic will include meditations on connecting with our body, lamentation as an entrance to worship and compassion, with an invitation to engaging in compassion toward self and others’ healing, all in preparation for experiencing the Juneteenth holiday on June 19. As always, there will be opportunities for reading, listening, reflection, meditation, prayer, and sharing as the Spirit prompts you.

May 28 Mother Mary Retreat: Mary from a Muslim Perspective.
May is a perfect time to celebrate Mother Mary and understand the ways she connects many faith traditions.
Join us for the morning session of Mother Mary from a Muslim perspective while enjoying resident desert birds at the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve on Sunday May 28 from 10am to noon. There will be an Audubon bird walk 7:00am to 9:00am before this session if you would like to enjoy the easy walking trails and diverse migrant birds on the preserve.
Professor Zeki Saritoprak, who teaches Religious Studies at John Carroll University in Ohio, has written several books on Islamic Spirituality, He will be leading this reflection. Since space is limited, in this morning session, please text Julia at Interfaith at 702-268-6414 to reserve a spot.
If there is interest, a mobile guided tour of the preserve can be set up after the session as well. Grab your hats, sunscreen and binoculars. Open your heart and minds inviting an expanded awareness about Mother Mary.
An afternoon session Mother Mary from a Muslim Perspective will be held at 2:00-4:00pm at Silver Sage Foundation, 2920 N Green Valley Pkwy, 212, Henderson, NV 89014.
June 7 and 28th: Jamal Rahman invites you to join his new 2-part Zoom class entitled “Sufi Mystics and Poetry,” sponsored by Center for Spiritual Living, Seattle. This 2-part series begins on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 6:30-8:30 pm Pacific Time, and Part 2 begins Wednesday, June 28th at the same time.
