Buddhist countries celebrate Buddha’s birthday by setting up a flowered altar with the
figure of a Baby Buddha for practitioners to pour sweet tea over. In Japan, it’s called
the Flower Festival. The symbolic gesture is to pay respects to the Honored One and to
renew our faith in our own buddha within.
We will do the following activities:
-Participate in pouring sweet hydrangea tea over the Baby Buddha
-Share in meditation and circle time
-Crafting a tiny bottle with the baby buddha and crystals, for you to take home
