Welcome to a New Year! You are invited to a unique contemplative experience this month to explore together how we can participate in a healing journey for ourselves and future generations committed to real change and a reparative future. On Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 9:00 AM through lunch, we will gather at First Christian Church, 101 S. Rancho Drive, with author and activist Myisha T. Hill for a self-reflective process of our relationships with power, privilege, and racism. She will bring practices that include meditation, reflection, and sharing, with follow up opportunities to continue learning and life application using her book, “Heal Your Way Forward – The Co-Conspirators Guide to an Anti-Racist Future”. I am grateful to the First Christian Church community and the work of Cynthia Scott in planning and organizing this event, including a lunch to follow from Noon to 1:00 PM. Donations are welcomed. This event will be in person only.
