This is a service of prayer, scripture, hymn, chant and silence. We will honor the Sacred through the expressions of various religious traditions and music. Led by Francyl Gawryn.

Book Study (flyer below): As a follow-up to our June exploration about the life of the mystic Howard Thurman, we are inviting you to a book study on Jesus and the Disinherited facilitated by Cynthia Scott, spiritual director.
This discussion will be held on two consecutive Sundays – August 25 and September 1 from 2pm to 4pm at the Interfaith Center, 4770 Harrison Drive.

9:00 – 10:00 -Trauma Recovery/Resilience Yoga: Heal Your Mind, Body and Soul.T.R.Y. combines gentle yoga poses, breathwork, and mindfulness practices to create a safe and nurturing environment.
10:30-11:30- A Service for Healing Anointing with oil, and prayers for healing will be offered for any in need each Tuesday 10:30am-11:30am at the Interfaith Contemplative Center for Spirituality and Health. Rev. Catherine Gregg and others will provide a liturgy for healing and offer the ancient practice of laying of hands to those who seek healing and wholeness in body, mind and spirit. All are welcome.

Join this interfaith book study group and get a valuable window into the new frontier of interreligious relations. Take this seven- week journey to interfaith collaboration that offers hope for a healing way of being together in the world.
