Mayors Community Breakfast 2019

Join us for breakfast Thursday, November 21st, 2019.

The 2019 Mayors Community Breakfast will take place on Wednesday, November 21 at 7:30am at the Texas Station Hotel and Casino inside the Dallas Ballroom. The goal of the breakfast is to bring education and hope to our future generation. Individual tickets are $55 per person, table of 10 is $500. Our keynote speaker is Rushia Brown, Player Programs and Franchise Development Manager from the Las Vegas Aces.

To reserve your table or tickets, register online.

The Mayors Prayer Breakfast is an annual fundraiser held to benefit Camp Anytown, a program of the Interfaith Council of Southern Nevada, that empowers youth in leadership skills, human relations and diversity. The event was founded over 60 years ago when Las Vegas Mayor Oran Gragson attended a President’s Prayer Breakfast hosted by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. The Mayor was so moved by the experience that he brought the event to Las Vegas.

Invited to participate this year are the mayors of Boulder City, Henderson, Las Vegas and North Las Vegas and the chairman of the Clark County Board of Commissioners.

As in the past, over 400 students from local high schools will attend, making the event an intergenerational celebration. Immediately following the breakfast the students will remain to participate in a town hall meeting with our mayors to discuss their questions or concerns. Chair of the Interfaith Council of Southern Nevada, Gard Jameson, will moderate the event.
